Minnesota and Wisconsin Authorities Pull Body from St. Croix River
Hudson, WI (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in Minnesota and Wisconsin have pulled a body from the St. Croix River.
Limited information has been released, however the Hudson Police Department says officers responded to the report of a possible body being in the river around 9:30 a.m. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department responded to assist with the recovery effort.
Authorities confirmed recovering the body from the river Wednesday. Officials say the identity of the body will not be released until the medical examiner makes an identification and the family is notified.
The body discovery comes as authorities in Chisago County continue searching up river for 18-year-old D'Andrea Sanvig. The Luck Wisconsin man fell into the St. Croix River after losing his footing at an overlook in Interstate Park last week.
