Michelle Obama Stopping in Minnesota for Book Tour Next Year
Michelle Obama's book "Becoming" has been a huge seller since it was released in November. She's sold over 3 million copies! She has scheduled stops for a 2019 book tour and one of those stops is here in Minnesota.
Michelle will be stopping at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on March 13th. The event is being called a "live conversation" discussing her book. In "Becoming" Michelle writes about life growing up in the South Side of Chicago to then becoming the first lady and moving to Washington D.C.
If you have a verified Ticketmaster account you can get ahold of tickets for Michelle Obama's book tour on Friday at 10 AM. You can easily make your Ticketmaster account verified if you would like but you only have until midnight on Wednesday to do so. To do that click HERE.
If you don't have a verified account then you can purchase tickets on Saturday at 10 AM. Prepare yourself though if you want a ticket. No official prices for the Minnesota stop have been announced yet but typically, nosebleed seats go for $29.50 or front row seats are a whopping $3,000! That's according to The Washington Post. You can also purchase VIP meet and greet tickets but if front row tickets are $3,000 I don't think I want to know how much the meet and greet tickets will be.
Michelle has had celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Sarah Jessica Parker moderate different stops on her tour in 2018. So far there's no word on who will moderate the stop here in Minnesota.
