Mardi Gras is Coming

It is hard to believe that we are already this close to Mardi Gras, it's not even Valentine's Day yet. But, here we are, with Mardi Gras happening the day before Valentine's Day, which is also Ash Wednesday this year.

Mardi Gras, which means Fat Tuesday, is the last opportunity to indulge in your favorite foods, drink, etc, before Lenten Season, which leads Christians to give up something they enjoy, in a reflection of their faith.

I have seen it posted on the internet, and social media, that the place to be for Mardi Gras is the infamous Bourbon Street in New Orleans, there is usually a parade, beads, and revelers galore. They even have a special cake, which, if you look carefully enough, you can find in Southern MN.
