Man Drives Car At Officers in Twin Cities Suburb

Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC AM News) -

The Brooklyn Park officers were sent to check a report of a driver who was “slumped over and possibly impaired.”

Police say the officers were able to awaken the driver but he refused to obey commands to identify himself or step out from the vehicle. The driver suddenly put the vehicle in drive and began ramming police squad cars. He also drove at the officers who were standing near his vehicle, forcing them to jump out of the way as he sped off.

The driver crashed a short distance away and fled on foot.
