This week's adoptable animal of the week is cancer-survivor Kyla, who after beating cancer is only looking for one gift under her scratching post Christmas tree, that gift would be a home to call her own this holiday season.

Our good friend Michaela, a volunteer with the Mower County Humane Society has more information about Kyla.

Kyla came to the Mower County Humane Society with her roomies Pippi and Noah from a couple who could no longer care for the 3. Kyla is spayed and current on all shots, etc. She is a senior cat who has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. When the Mower County Humane Society received her, she had a bump on her head. When it was removed and sent to the lab, it showed to be a mast cell. The entire tumor was removed and she is now clear and ready for a loving home. Kyla's new home should be an indoor-only home for this friendly girl. Her adoption fee is $50 or adopt a friend for Kyla and get 2 cats for $75.
