He saved some runs. Now, if he could only save the Blue Jays season.

Toronto's Kevin Pillar reeled in what may very well be the catch of the year during his team's 4-2 victory over the Indians on Monday night.

Playing in center field, the fifth-year player robbed Jose Ramirez of extra bases in the sixth inning when he made a sensational diving catch, leaving runners stranded on second and third and protecting what was then a 4-0 lead and staving off what could have turned into a big inning.

It has been a brutal year for the Blue Jays, who have been decimated by injuries. Despite that, they have two of the season's most memorable plays. Aside from Pillar's Superman-like grab, Chris Coghlan did some leaping of his own by soaring over Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina to score an unconventional run.
