The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights won't play another match that counts this season until October 30th thanks to the top seed in the South Subsection of Section 2AA.  The 22-8 Knights have been to the State Tournament in back to back seasons.  The top seed in this section has no home games.  Kenyon-Wanamingo travels to Mankato East High School on the 30th to play either #4 seed Waseca (9-7) or Fairmont (6-18).  Those teams play Thursday.

#2 seed St. Peter (24-5) hosts #7 Blue Earth Area (3-20) Thursday.  #6 Tri-City United (5-24) is at Maple River (16-9).  The Subsection title match will be November 1st 7:45 p.m. at New Prague High School.

The North Subsection of Section 2AA is loaded with Belle Plaine (17-5) receiving the top seed and Norwood-Young America (24-7) the #2 seed.  The Tigers host Holy Family Catholic (6-20) while NYA entertains Sibley East (12-17.  #4 seed Southwest Christian hosts #5 Jordan.

We do plan on broadcasting the Kenyon-Wanamingo match on the 30th.  Tap the KDHL app and listen on your favorite mobile device.  There is no static.  It's crystal clear.
