Julie A. Krenzke, age 60 of Faribault, MN died on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN following an extended illness.

Julie Ann, the daughter of Duane and Donna (Bulver) Webster, was born on June 29, 1963 in Owatonna, MN.  She attended Owatonna High School and graduated with the class of 1981.  Following high school Julie attended Floral Design School in Denver, CO.  On August 22, 1992 she was united in marriage to Larry Krenzke at Peace Lutheran Church in Faribault.  Julie worked at different flower shops in Owatonna for many years before opening her own shop in Kenyon, MN, Flowers by Julie.  She owned and operated this business for many years.  Most recently Julie worked at Cabela’s in Owatonna.  Julie LOVED anything flowers.  She also enjoyed fishing and went on several fishing trips to Cass Lake with Larry, hunting, gardening, sleeping in a tent and anything outdoors, the more rustic the better.  She also enjoyed spending time at the Kenyon VFW, where she could be found with pulltabs in one hand and an EJ/7 in the other.  Julie was a social butterfly and the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone.  She left a lasting impression on everyone she met, but most of all she was a caring, creative, and thoughtful person who will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sister, Judy (Mike) Bartz of Waseca, MN; by her stepsiblings, Terry (Carol) VanSickle of Dundas, MN, Kathy (Steve) Schmigt of Minneapolis, MN, Susan (Bruce) Nelson of Red Wing, MN, Julie Syndness of Northfield, MN and Nancy Thiessen of St. Cloud, MN; by her stepchildren, Carrie Sanvick of Rochester, MN, Carmen (Brent) Berge of Chatfield, MN and Curt Krenzke of San Antonio, TX; by her special friend, Sara Archer and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry Krenzke, her stepmother, Donna Webster, her sister, Jane Wright and her stepbrother, Randy VanSickle.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to join Julie’s family after the visitation at the Kenyon VFW to continue celebrating Julie.\
