The Owatonna Eagles will host their 57th Cancer Auction this weekend. Start time is 6pm on Friday, February 1 and again at 4pm on Saturday, February 2 at the Eagles. The two-day auction last year raised over $42,000. Food and drink will be available for purchase during the auction. All proceeds from the auction are donated to cancer research at the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, The U of M Cancer Center or the Hormel Institute.

Among the items up for bids are Minnesota Twins autographed baseballs, a ring from Josten's, baked goods and a Viking signed football.

New this year will be a pancake breakfast served up Sunday morning at the Eagles. The public is invited. By the way, temperatures are expected to be 40-50 degrees warmer by Friday.
