For more than 100 years, Johnson & Johnson has been selling talcum powder based baby powder. It may well be the best known item of the brand, but after trouble in the US and Canada, they're done. It will no longer be shipped for use in the US and Canada.

According to their website,

Demand for talc-based Johnson’s Baby Powder in North America has been declining due in large part to changes in consumer habits and fueled by misinformation around the safety of the product and a constant barrage of litigation advertising.

And to a certain degree that's true. There has been misinformation. For instance, a court finding doesn't equal scientific fact, but even the science isn't 100% certain (source). However, no matter what information people believe, their sales have declined here and north of us, so you can forget about buying the talc-based product once the supply in stores runs out.

You will still be able to buy cornstarch-based Johnson’s Baby Powder.
