JCPenney Announces Minnesota Store Closings
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester JCPenney store has survived the latest round of closings by its management team.
The company Thursday announced it is closing 154 stores and four are in Minnesota: Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove and Willmar.
JCP filed for bankruptcy a few weeks ago and began making plans to close dozens of its more than 800 stores.
Its store at Rochester’s Apache Mall has been one of the anchors at the center.
