NEW EDITION ON TOUR 2026
New Edition got its start in Boston in 1978 and rose to superstardom in the mid-1980's. The group released its first full-length album, Candy Girl, which spawned the group's big hit in the title track, which reached #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the R&B charts.
In 1984 the group charted two top-20 hits with "Cool It Now" hitting #4 on the Hot 100 and "Mr. Telephone Man" reaching #12.
The group continued to chart all the way through 2004's "Hot 2Nite," which reached #87 on the Hot 100.
BOYZ II MEN COMING TO MINNEAPOLIS
Not only was the name 'Boyz II Men' inspired by New Edition's song "Boys To Men," but the group was discovered by New Edition's Michael Bivins, who ended up managing the group.
The rest was history, as Boyz II Men became one of the biggest-selling artists of all time. Beginning with 1991's "Motownphilly," the group charted nine-top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
TONI BRAXTON CONCERT MINNEAPOLIS
A legend in her own right, Toni Braxton completes the terrific trio of performers on the triple-bill.
Beginning with her debut single in 1992, "Love Shoulda Brought You Home," Braxton has reached the top 40 ten times, including #1 hits "You're Makin' Me High" and "Un-Break My Heart."
