22 Dog-Approved Patios in Rochester, MN

There's nothing quite like sitting outside on a patio at a restaurant or brewery and enjoying our beautiful but short Minnesota summer. The summer sun, good food and drinks, and great company. Especially if that company includes your dog!

Plenty of people in Rochester love to bring their dog out and about with them, especially in the summer time to go grab a bite to eat or a drink to sip.

It's important, however, to be conscious of how your dog is around people, other dogs, and that they're well-behaved in general.

Can I Bring My Dog to a Restaurant Patio?

If your dog is well-behaved and chill, they're 100% welcome at plenty of the patios in the area.

On the other hand, if you're dog is still learning some manners, if they're a bit skittish around people and/or other dogs, or if they can get a bit noisy, it probably isn't the best idea to bring them into a patio situation. Doing that can stress out the dog, you, and other people around you. It may even turn into a dangerous situation.

With all of that being said, if your dog is one that is ready to join you out on a patio this summer, I've got a ton of spots around Rochester at are dog-approved, dog-friendly patios where you and your furry friend can spend a lot of time together.
