What is 'Sota Style Pizza?

"Minnesota-style" pizza is a thin crust with lots of toppings and cheese. However, it's not the toppings that define it; the true "Minnesota Style" comes in how it's cut and served. The key feature is that the pizza must be sliced into squares

The Red's Savoy Pizza team gets credit for coining the phrase. They've been serving pizza with this distinctive style since 1965.

Rochester's Red Savoy Location Will Include a Jumbo Slice Drive-Thru

The Rochester Red Savoy will have a cozy dining area, a convenient drive-thru, and delivery options.

Customers can order in multiple ways including by phone, online, through the Red’s Savoy Pizza App, in person, or through the drive-thru.

The drive-thru is a distinctive feature, with only one other Red Savoy location offering a similar option.

Reed Daniels, Red’s Savoy Pizza CEO said, "Since coming out of the pandemic we’ve noticed that consumers are back to busy lifestyles and value the convenience that ordering pizza offers. We wanted to take that one step further by offering a quick, fresh lunch option.”

Red Savoy Announces Free Pizza Giveaway

Rochester's newest pizza place, located on South Broadway by DSW, will be opening soon, but before then the restaurant will be handing out free slices.

On Friday, February 9th, in honor of National Pizza Day, Red Savoy in Rochester is hosting Free Slice Day. Between 11 AM and 1 PM, swing by the Rochester restaurant and use the drive-thru to snag a complimentary slice while supplies last.
