Minnesota State Fair Named the State Fair with the Best Food

Are you tired of me talking about the state fair yet? Don't answer that, you'll hurt my feelings. Also, it won't stop me. Not sorry! Plus, there's a great reason to talk about the Minnesota State Fair this time, and it's proof that my love of the fair isn't totally insane.

The Great Minnesota Get-Together was just named the best state fair in the country, specifically for all of the delicious food.

Minnesota State Fair Named Best in the US

Past reviews and lists have named the Minnesota State Fair at least among the top state fairs in the country, if not THE top.

This one done by Yelp, though, ranked the state fairs solely based on food.

I mean, there's a lot of cool things to see and do at the fair (trust me, I attempt to do it all), but the food is a BIG part of the fair experience.

Minnesota State Fair is the Best State Fair for Food

They determined which state fairs would make their top 10 by analyzing "review volume and ratings ... based on businesses with high concentrations of reviews mentioning fair food".

These reviews and ratings then allowed Yelp to pick their top 10 best state fairs for food and gave the Minnesota State Fair the top spot!

We're in good company, though. The Midwest apparently knows how to put on state fairs. Check out the top 5:
