Mocktails are becoming even more and more commonplace in restaurants around Minnesota lately. I've also started to see so many options popping up in liquor stores.

It's great to see these kinds of options for people who don't want to drink to still have a fun beverage in hand. And now, there's going to be an entire nightclub dedicated to just that.

The Rise in Mocktail Popularity

Mocktails have become very popular over the past few years. But why is that?

I did a quick Google search and a lot of sources say a big reason is because people are being more health-conscious. The site Sobreo writes,

"With the rise of health and wellness trends, many people are looking for healthier options when it comes to their food and drink choices."

Bloom Tampa Bay talks about the negative health impacts that drinking alcohol can have on us, like "increased risk of liver disease, depression and anxiety."

Mocktails, on the other hand, allow us to enjoy the social aspects of drinking without the negative effects.

Mocktails also allow you to still have a fun drink in hand without it being alcohol. And since so many bars and restaurants now offer mocktails, you don't have to miss out on going out with friends just because you don't want to drink alcohol.

Grab a mocktail, smoothie, fruit juice, or tea, and get ready for a fun nightclub atmosphere "with no worries of the extra madness from your typical bar!"

Club Throw Down's grand opening will be Friday, March 15th, 9 PM - 1 AM. On top of delicious NA drinks, you can also expect karaoke, music, food, and live entertainment at the sober club.
