Starbucks Just Announced The Return Date In 2026 For The Pumpkin Spice Latte
The forecast may still show summer temperatures but fall is starting to appear in various ways. One of the biggest signs that cooler temps are coming back to Minnesota is when "PSL" starts to trend.

Starbucks has officially announced that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is returning to stores throughout the United States on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte Has Been A Fall Tradition For More Than 20 Years
79% of us have fallen in love with the tasty fall tradition, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. 2003 was the first time this season beverage was debuted by Starbucks. It was such a hit that the following year, it exapnded throughout the country. Now...I'm not sure we could have an actual autumn without this official drink nearby.
How Is A Pumpkin Spice Latte Made?
I don't have the official recipe from Starbucks but I do know that the beverage today is made with espresso, steamed milk, pumpkin spice sauce, whipped cream, and a topping of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove.
Starbucks' 2026 Fall Menu Includes New Drinks Too
While the PSL is the main character for fall beverages, Starbucks typically rolls out a few other fun drinks for the fall season.
The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino are back on the menu for 2026. Starting August 25th, you'll see these new seasonal beverages too:
- Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso
- Pumpkin Spice Chai
- Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha
- Chaider (a chai and cider-inspired drink)
- Banana Bread Latte
- Banana Bread Chai
