
21-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Minnesota Lake
A group had gone swimming in the lake shortly before 2:30 a.m. A member of the group jumped into the lake from a dock in the area and found a body face down in the water, the news release says.
Nevis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young man suffered a fatal injury in a Minnesota lake.

A news release issued Monday says the tragedy is under investigation. A group of swimmers discovered his body while going into the lake early Saturday morning.
An autopsy has identified the young man and determined his cause of death.

21-Year-Old Minnesota Man Found Dead in Lake Belle Taine in Nevis
The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the report of a drowning at a beach along Lake Belle Taine in Nevis, which is about 11 miles east of Park Rapids.
A group had gone swimming in the lake shortly before 2:30 a.m. A member of the group jumped into the lake from a dock in the area and found a body face down in the water, the news release says.
CPR was in progress when law enforcement arrived. Deputies continued with life-saving care but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release says.
The preliminary autopsy identified the deceased man as 21-year-old Aiden Thompson of Nevis. He was determined to have died from a cervical spine fracture, the news release says.
