
Redwood County Sheriff’s Office: Man Dies After Becoming Trapped in Grain Bin
First responders in southern Minnesota were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9:30 Wednesday morning on the report of a man being trapped in a grain bin.

Man Dies After Becoming Trapped in Grain Bin on Southern Minnesota Farm
The call came from a farm in the 13000 block of Hwy. 19, which is about 13 miles east of Marshall in Redwood County.
A news release issued by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office indicates the trapped man was pulled from the grain bin but pronounced dead shortly after 11:15 a.m.
Authorities did not say how long the man was trapped in the bin. The man’s name has not yet been released.
The deadly grain bin mishap is under investigation.
