"Making Disciples for Life" is the theme of National Lutheran Schools week this week.  Faribault Lutheran schools is observing the week with their annual "Souper Bowl Supper" Friday.

Chrysteena Saehler, Principal and Howard Bode, Faribault Lutheran Schools Board Chair stopped by AM Minnesota to deliver information about the school and their observances.

Bode grew up in a parochial school and believes in having a Christ-centered education.

Bode and Saehler talked about the tradition of academic excellence Faribault Lutheran Schools have also.

Bode shared more information about the history of the school.  Trinity Lutheran Church started in 1870.  The school began in 1875.

Saehler gives more details about their plans to observe Lutheran Schools Week.

Thursday is botany day.

Saehler is proud to be part of such a rich Faribault Lutheran School history.
