Dundas, Miesville, St. Patrick All Advance MBA Class B
Section 1 qualilfed 4 teams for the MBA Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament and 3 remain alive following the opening weekend.
The MBA bolstered Class B team numbers by adding over a third of Class A teams to the tournament. Seven are in the sweet sixteen.
Dundas will go up against the Minneapolis Cobras Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at a site to be determined.
Miesville tangles with Anoka Saturday, August 26, 2023 1:30 p.m. at another site not yet named.
St. Patrick will face Baseball 365 at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
All Section 1 teams had convincing wins in their openers.
- St. Patrick defeated St. Paul Capitals 7-1
- Miesville downed St. Paul Mudhens 6-2
- Dundas blew Highland Park Beavers dam 6-1

St. Louis Park is the three-time defending Class A State Champions.
Last year's Class B title holder Rochester did not make the tournament this year.
The 100th Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament is being held in Delano, Dassel, Litchfield and Waconia.
