Woman Struck by Falling Tree Limb at Rural Minnesota Property Dies from her Injuries
Hanska, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A death investigation is underway in southern Minnesota after a mishap involving a tree limb.

That’s according to a news release issued Tuesday afternoon by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and other first responders were called to the deadly incident around 2:40 Monday afternoon.
Woman Dies After Being Struck in the Head by Falling Tree Limb at Rural Property Near Hanska
The news release indicates a tree limb had fallen and struck a woman in the head at a rural property near Hanska, which is about 13 miles south of New Ulm.
First responders administered CPR but the woman died from her injuries at the scene, the news release says.
Autopsy Ordered
Authorities are withholding her name until her next of kin have been notified.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the woman’s cause and manner of death, the news release says.
