
Winona Man Among Six Killed in Minnesota Crashes on Monday
Lewiston, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Winona a when a man was among at least six people killed in traffic crashes across Minnesota on Monday.
Deadly Construction Crash
The Winona County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 43-year-old Zackary Wayne Ford. A news release says he was driving a car that crashed into the back of a dump truck that had stopped at the direction of a traffic flagger in a construction zone.
The deadly collision was reported shortly after 9 a.m. Monday on Winona County Road 29 between I-90 and County Road 18 just south of Lewiston.

Four Killed in Head-On Crash
The State Patrol is also reporting that four people were killed in a head-on collision Monday afternoon in east-central Minnesota. The crash occurred when an 80-year-old Princeton woman driving an SUV crossed the center line on Highway 95 on the east edge of Princeton in Mille Lacs County.

The SUV driver and the driver of the other vehicle, along with two of his passengers, were killed. The victims included a 16-year-old boy from Princeton. An 18-year-old woman also suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.

Deadly Rollover
The other fatal crash was reported Monday evening in Kittson County. The State Patrol says a 68-year-old Karlstad man died after the pickup truck he was driving failed to negotiate a curve on a rural road and rolled.
