First responders were dispatched to the deadly crash shortly after 2:00 on the morning of April 7.

One vehicle with one occupant  was involved in the fatality.

State Patrol ID's Waseca Man Killed in Hwy. 14 Crash

The fatal crash occurred west on Hwy. 14 between Waseca and Janesville. A westbound SUV left the four-lane highway, the state crash report says. 

On Monday the State Patrol identified the driver as 61-year-old David Percy Weller of Waseca. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the updated crash report says. 

Weller was not buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, according to the State Patrol.
