
Truck Driver Injured When Semi Flipped by Tornado Near Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A truck driver was transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital after the semi-truck he was driving was tipped over by a tornado near Rochester this afternoon.
Twister Flips Semi
The State Patrol says the incident occurred on westbound I-90 just before 2:30 p.m. The crash report indicates an approaching tornado caused the truck to overturn onto its side about a mile and a half east of the Rochester airport.

Bloomington Man Injured
The driver of the truck was identified as 55-year-old Abdirashid Ahmed Keynan of Bloomington. The State Patrol says he was wearing a seat belt and described his injuries as non-life-threatening.

Another Semi Flipped Near Elgin
The National Weather Service also reported that a semi-truck was flipped over by a tornado near Elgin but also cause damage to some farms in that area. It's unknown if the driver of that truck was injured.
