
(UPDATED) Driver Severely Injured in Fillmore County Crash
Fountain, MN (KROC-AM News) - A section of Highway 52 in Fillmore County was closed this morning due to a three-vehicle injury crash.

The State Patrol has issued a preliminary statement on the incident, which was reported around 7:20 a.m. approximately two miles south of Fountain. The crash report indicates two cars were headed south and a pickup was traveling north when they collided near the intersection with Jade Road, about halfway between Fountain and Preston.

Three Preston residents involved
The drivers of all three vehicles are Preston residents. The State Patrol says the driver of one of the cars suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision. She was identified as 33-year-old Katie Minter.
The two other drivers, 21-year-old Jonathan Rothen and 30-year-old and Hershberger, were also transported to St. Marys Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol has not released their names or any information concerning the extent of their injuries.
