Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Hayfield man has pleaded guilty to repeatedly sexually assaulting a child over a period of at least seven years.
Hayfield Man Admits to Child Sexual Assault Charge
Forty-year-old Jason Allen Krueth today admitted to a charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to court documents, the conviction carries a presumptive sentence of between eight and 11 years in prison, and the prosecution has stated that it will request an 11-year prison term.

8 Other Charges Dismissed Through Plea Agreement
Krueth was charged in April of last year with six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Under the terms of a plea agreement, the remaining charges against him will be dismissed.

Multiple Years of Often Daily Abuse
The criminal complaint against Krueth says the Kasson Police Department opened an investigation in August 2024 after the victim told a family member about the sexual abuse. The victim stated that Krueth began sexually assaulting her when she was between 5 and 7 years old and that the abuse continued, almost daily, until she was about 14 years old.
His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for October.
