Former Dodge Center Man Charged With Child Sexual Abuse
Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - Conditional bail has been set at $250,000 for a Fairbault County man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young child at a residence in Dodge Center.
42-year-old Nicholas Daniel Larson of Frost has been charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges allege Larson began sexually abusing the girl when she was six years old and the abuse continued for six years.
The criminal complaint includes the now teenage girl's descriptions of the alleged assaults, including instances where Larson allegedly restrained her using the rubber cuffs and whipped her with a rope that had a not tied at the end of it. The court document also includes descriptions of Larson allegedly setting up a camera on a stand and taking pictures of the young victim.
It also states that the alleged sexual abuse continued until 2017. The victim told investigators she learned about pregnancy in her health education courses, which made her scared, and prompted her to refuse "to comply with Larson's advances."
Larson, who was arrested in North Mankato, is currently being held in the Olmsted County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled on December 19.
