
76-Year-Old Preston Woman Hurt in Crash With Semi in Fillmore County
Mabel, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeast Minnesota woman was brought to a hospital after a crash with a semi truck in Fillmore County.

That’s according to the State Patrol, which responded to the crash shortly after 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was driving a sedan. Both drivers were the only people involved in the crash.

Preston Woman Injured in Car-Semi Collision at Hwy. 44 Intersection in Mabel
The two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 44 Fillmore County Rd. 28/North Main St. in Mabel.
The state crash report says the car was traveling north on County Rd. 28 and the semi was eastbound on Hwy. 44 when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
76-year-old Vickie Jo Lynch of Preston was driving the car. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
Truck Driver Escapes Injury
45-year-old Jeremy Dean Wolf of Nashua, IA was identified as the truck driver. He was uninjured, the State Patrol says.

Both motorists were buckled up and alcohol is not suspected in the crash, according to the state crash report.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Mabel Fire and Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle collision.
