
Nothing Found After Bomb Threat Prompts Business Evacuations in Stewartville
Stewartville, MN (KROC-AM News)- A bomb threat prompted the evacuation of multiple businesses in Stewartville on Tuesday.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin says deputies responded to the initial threat, which was targeted towards a business around 1:45 p.m.
He said law enforcement initiated safety precautions in the area, which involved the evacuations and road closures.

Nothing Found During Investigation of Bomb Threat Made Against Star Transportation in Stewartville
Parkin said Star Transportation, located at 103 20th Street NE reported receiving, “multiple suspicious calls stating there was a bomb on the property.”
The area of the call includes a bank, dollar store and grocery store.
An explosive-detecting K9 arrived at the scene and checked Star Transportation and surrounding businesses.
Parkin says nothing suspicious was found. He also said the sheriff’s office learned similar calls were placed elsewhere across Minnesota.
