
ATV Rider Freed from Overturned Side-by-Side Taken to Hospital After Crash Near Rochester
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News)- A rider in a side-by-side ATV was brought to a hospital after crashing over the weekend in rural Olmsted County.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin says the crash occurred around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
A man and woman were occupying the all-terrain vehicle.

Man Found Unresponsive Taken to Hospital After Side-by-Side ATV Crash Southwest of Rochester
The ATV crash occurred in the 7800 block of County Rd. 117 SW in Salem Township, which is about 10 miles southwest of downtown Rochester.
Responding deputies found the ATV flipped over in a wooded area, Parkin said.

The male occupant of the ATV was unconscious and still inside of the vehicle. Parkin said first responders freed the man from the ATV.
He was taken by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to a hospital. An update on his condition is not available.
Parkin said the woman occupying the ATV was not transported. The names of the ATV occupants have not been released.

Authorities are investigating the ATV crash, Parkin said.
