Over the weekend, you may have noticed a post regarding the Grande Depot and the fact that it is for sale.  There was a huge social media post from Premiere Real Estate showing all the amenities that the Grande Depot has to offer.

IS THE GRANDE DEPOT CLOSING

Here is the thing - lots of people saying it's so sad that it's closing, people also asking if it is closing and also making suggestions as to what it should become if someone does decide to buy the building.  Are they also buying the business?

Here is the post from Premiere Real Estate on their website.  It's listed for $3.4 Million.

THE LISTING DESCRIBES THE PROPERTY BELOW

You can find the post on Facebook here.

Historic architecture with exceptional wood detailing
Expansive open-concept interior with soaring ceilings
Abundant natural light throughout
Elevator access to 3rd-floor private retreat
Wrap-around second-floor patio with endless potential
Ample parking for 50+ vehicles + gated entrance
High-visibility location with destination appeal
Ideal for retail, restaurant, office, studio, gallery, event venue, or specialty business use. This property offers versatility, presence, and unforgettable character.

COULD YOU BUY AS IS AND KEEP IT THE SAME WAY

I suppose you could choose to buy the whole business, but that will cost more than the listing specifies.  Or change it to something else.  It's a bummer if it totally closes, so many unique and cool things in that place.

WHERE DID THE DEPOT COME FROM BEFORE IT BECAME THE CURRENT BUSINESS

History on this Depot itsef.  It originally came from Eden Valley, and being that I grew up there, I remember whem the depot building was still in Eden Valley, and I also remember when they moved the building.  For awhile, the Eden Valley sign hung on the side of the building even after it was moved to the current location.
What would you do with the building?
