Superstitions Surrounding Friday the 13th – It’s This Friday
People have all sorts of superstitions. Some of them are just themselves and others are common among almost everyone. Some silly superstitions will be something like someone walks into the room and some great play happens during a game you are watching, or the opposite thing happens and that person is banned the rest of the game.
Other superstitions are very common. One of which is the superstition surrounding Friday the 13th. There are three Friday the 13ths in the year 2026. One of which is this Friday, and the other two are in March and November.
SOME OF THE THINGS PEOPLE DO OR AVOID DOING ON THIS "SPECIAL" DAY
Avoid it at all costs. This means not booking big events on that day, such as a wedding, trips, or making any major decisions. If your birthday falls on that day, well there isn't much you can do about that.
There is some fear surrounding the number as well. Most hotels don't have a 13th floor. It skips from 12 to 14. But news flash- the "14th" floor is still the 13th floor. They just don't call attention to it.
And some people just think it's straight up bad luck. Kind of on the same level as a broken mirror.
HAVE WE GROWN AT ALL AFTER ALL OF THE HOOPLA SURROUNDING THE NUMBER
Apparently yes, a lof of people have grown past worrying about the date. Contributing most of the "fear" from movies like the Friday the 13th franchise and other films and stories.
