Kacey Musgraves has a brand new song called Deeper Well, that sings about living your life they way YOU want to live it; "Took a long time, but I learned there's two kinds of people, one is a giver and one's always tryin' to take all they can take."

One of the givers in this world was a 34-year-old teacher and single mother of three children, ages 13, 10 & 6 from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Robin Nelson was a preschool teacher who unexpectedly died on March 20th, 2024. She was in her second year with the Boys & Girls Club in Detroit Lakes when the unthinkable happened.

Robin had a headache that turned out to be a brain bleed on March 17th, 2024. The cause of her brain bleed is still unknown. Her children are with family members of their mother, trying to get through the unexpected grief and loss of their only parent.

Robin Nelson's story does not end here though. Robin chose to be an organ donor; and though her death was unexpected and untimely, Robins's generous donation of her organs saved the lives of four other people.

Her heart, pancreas, and liver saved a young 21-year-old man. Two other men were saved when each of them received one of her kidneys, and a 59-year-old man received her lungs.

I'm hoping that people will recognize the lives Robin saved by choosing to donate her organs. In her family's time of need. Consider giving what you can to the fundraiser that has been set up to assist the children, and to purchase a headstone for her burial place.

All contributions will go directly to the family. You can contribute and leave a message for Robins family by clicking HERE.
