Watch The Lights Go Out During MN Boys Hockey Tournament Game
With the Minnesota State High School League boys state hockey tournament in full swing, there was a memorable moment this afternoon, but it didn't have anything to do with hair, or hockey for that matter. During the first Class AA game of the day, the lights inside Grand Casino Arena went out, leaving the players, fans, and officials in the dark.
Odd Moment During MN Prep Hockey Game
During the first game of the day at Grand Casino Arena, Minnetonka vs. Gentry Academy, the arena, including the rink, had the lights turned off.

The fans, however, seemed to be enjoying it, pulling out their cellphones and lighting up their flashlights, just like you see at concerts.
Cue The Former Arena Name Jokes
Of course, some people couldn't help themselves and poked at the name change, citing that the bill must have come due.

It's unclear how long the outage lasted, but the lights did eventually come back on, and play resumed.
