Truth or Tall Tale? Minnesota Bigfoot Conference Explores the Legend
Minnesota is a hotspot for Bigfoot sightings, so it's appropriate that we are home to an annual Bigfoot conference that draws loads of enthusiasts each year.
The annual conference is organized by the Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team and the lineup of Bigfoot experts has been announced for 2024 and tickets are on sale now for the unique event.
When Is The Minnesota Bigfoot Conference?
The Minnesota Bigfoot Conference 2024 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th from 10 AM - 9 PM at the Timberlake Lodge Hotel & Restaurant in Grand Rapids, the event will include a day full of presentations, Q&A and a number of vendors selling Bigfoot products and supplies for searching for the mysterious creature.

Here is a breakdown of the guests appearing at the 2024 Bigfoot Conference:
- Dr. Jeff Meldrum: Dr. Meldrum is a Professor of Anatomy & Anthropology at Idaho State University. He studies evolutionary morphology and bipedalism, with a focus on Sasquatch footprint analysis. Dr. Meldrum has authored numerous publications on Sasquatch and is the editor-in-chief of The Relict Hominoid Inquiry.
- R Scott Nelson: R Scott Nelson is a former US Navy Crypto-Linguist with expertise in Russian, Spanish, and Persian. His analysis of the "Berry/Morehead Tapes" suggests Sasquatch may have a complex language.
- Michael Freeman: Michael Freeman continues his father Paul Freeman's legacy in Bigfoot research, specializing in the Blue Mountain evidence. He authored "The Freeman Bigfoot Files" and frequently discusses his work on podcasts and television.
- Lyle Blackburn: Texan Lyle Blackburn is an author ("The Beast of Boggy Creek", "Texas Bigfoot"), founder of the band Ghoultown, and cryptid documentary narrator. He's a regular on radio and television shows about the unexplained, and a frequent speaker at cryptozoology and horror conferences.
Tickets for the event are available now, general admission tickets are $30, and kids tickets are $15.
