Several Minnesota malls have been making big moves lately, adding exciting new tenants and remodeling their spaces to stay competitive in the ever-changing retail world.

In the state that invented the modern shopping mall, it should come as no surprise that Minnesota is home to the largest mall in the United States, along with four other massive shopping centers that each offer more than 1.1 million square feet of retail space. Many of these malls are now adding fresh destinations that give shoppers even more reasons to visit.

One of the most notable changes is happening at Rosedale Center in Roseville. Opened in 1969, Rosedale is Minnesota’s third-largest mall, featuring more than 160 retailers. That number is about to grow with a couple of new additions, including a sweet treat that has candy lovers buzzing.

Lolli & Pops Brings First Minnesota Location

Recently, Rosedale welcomed several new stores, but the one drawing the most attention is Lolli & Pops, a candy shop opening its first Minnesota location.

Shoppers can expect the classics, chocolates, confections, and plenty of familiar candy favorites, but Lolli & Pops sets itself apart with a curated selection of sweets from around the globe.

One of their most unique offerings is “Boozy Bears,” gummy bears flavored like Piña Colada and Mojito. This shop will also be the only candy store inside Rosedale since Godiva closed several years ago. Lisa Crain, Rosedale Center’s vice president and general manager, told Twin Cities Business, “We’re seeing popularity of these boutique candy stores, so that’s something that will be brand new to our property in many years.”

Minnesota's 5 Shortest State Highways - Don't Blink, Or You'll Miss Them!

Don't blink, or you'll miss them! These state highways are pretty shockingly short!

For the purpose of this list, I decided to exclude the sizable list of short state highways that serve state institutions like correctional facilities and hospitals. These are just connections to those facilities, so they have a very specific purpose besides just being a stretch of road.

Let's take a look at where these roads are and just how short they really are.
