Chaos in Kenosha
The episode titled 'Chaos in Kenosha' will air on September 29th and takes an in-depth look at the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. At the age of 17, Rittenhouse killed two people during a Black Lives Matter protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin in August 2020.
The Incident
Rittenhouse, armed with an AR-15, Rittenhouse gunned down Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, he also shot a third man, Gaige Grosskreutz, who was also armed, he was filmed pointing a Glock at Rittenhouse, Grosskreutz survived the shooting.
Rittenhouse claimed he acted in self-defense because he feared for his life during the out of control protests. Rittenhouse was acquitted on all charges. The trial was polarizing, and opinions on the case were generally split among political party affiliation.
Episode Highlights
The episode will take a deep dive into the case and spotlight big moments in the trial, including compelling testimony, context from Court TV reporters and exclusive post-trial interviews.
New Insights
Court TV previously aired a special called 'Chaos in Kenosha: The Kyle Rittenhouse Case', so I'm assuming this new docuseries will include more information about the actual trial and fallout from the verdict.
