50 Cent Pulls Up to Minneapolis for Wolves Showdown
As the Minnesota Timberwolves and NBA superstar Anthony Edwards continue their push toward another playoff appearance and a possible run at the NBA Finals, the stars are starting to show up at Target Center.
Target Center Draws A Big Name
The Timberwolves hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in Minneapolis for what looked like a marquee matchup. Both teams entered the night with more than 30 wins and were sitting sixth in their respective conferences, making this one feel like a potential postseason preview.

That might explain why hip hop icon turned entertainment mogul 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, decided to take in the action courtside.

Philadelphia guard Tyrese Maxey erupted for 39 points, leading the 76ers to a dominant 135 to 108 win over Minnesota inside Target Center.
A Minnesota Partnership
After the game, 50 Cent was seen taking photos with fans and chatting with players before leaving the arena.
The relationship between 50 Cent and the Timberwolves goes back to 2023, when the team formed a partnership with his Sire Spirits brand. He has also publicly joked about helping Minnesota break the so called “curse” placed on the franchise by his longtime rival Ja Rule.
While this visit may not have delivered a win, the Wolves remain firmly in the playoff hunt as the regular season continues in Minneapolis.
