Our annual St. Jude Radiothon is right around the corner - and we definitely could not do it without Northland native Justin Gower. He's been raising tens of thousands for the kids of St. Jude and is back at it again this year.

In case you didn't know, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is located in Memphis and helps kids fighting cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They are the best of the best.

Patients never receive a bill from St. Jude, meaning parents and families can simply focus on making sure their child beats whatever disease brought them there. That's why the money that is donated to St. Jude is so important.

Justin is very passionate about the cause and you can support him in his efforts - and help the kids at St. Jude - THIS week with his special live auction.

This year's auction runs from Thursday (February 12th) through the 15th. The auction will be on the official Facebook page for the event, kicking off around 6:30 p.m. every night and running for about three hours per night. On Sunday, the auction will start at 4 p.m.

During these windows, you can bid on auction items donated to the cause by local companies, which is incredible. Most items are one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted or custom painted. These items also make great gifts!

There is everything from lures to guided trips and resort stays. This auction truly shows just how incredible our region is and how willing people and small businesses are to give back.  Thank you for all you do, Justin!

Justin also is the owner of JG's Custom Lures, and he can also be spotted on Facebook painting lures while talking about the cause. This will be his sixth year helping us with our Radiothon, and each year he truly outdoes himself. This has grown into a huge event and a great event for the kids at St. Jude.

Justin has raised about $63,000 dollars over the past few years and this year, he wants to hit an all-time record high. Let's help him do it AND help the kids at St. Jude. Go Justin go!! I think this will be the biggest year yet.
