Let's be honest - right now, it is Ella Langley's world and we are all just living in it! She is one of, if not the biggest star in country music right now and is having an amazing, one-of-a-kind run.

I saw her open for Eric Church at Grand Casino Arena earlier this month and she was super impressive! She sounded even better than her studio versions and brought a really fun vibe to her set.

Of course, there's her string of number one songs on country radio and all of the awards she has won just in the past year alone. Then, there's her smash Choosin' Texas which has gone on to smash so many different records.

It's hard to follow up any hit, especially one that is one of the biggest songs of the year. However, she just did with a brand new song that happens to have a fun Duluth connection.

The song is an ode to herself, as she talks about all the things she wants to be and become and how she isn't quite there yet. The song was released earlier this month and was written by a handful of co-writers, including Hardy.

Ella Langley's Newest Release Has A Fun Duluth Connection

One of those co-writers is pretty special: he's from Duluth! He's now a huge songwriter in Nashville with so many number one and hit songs to his name. Jordan Schmidt is sure making Duluth proud, and big fans of Ella Langley from the Northland will now love this song even more.

Believe it or not, this isn't his first time writing with the star. He also helped write I've Never Met Anyone Like You, which not only features Hardy but he helped write it as well. It looks like this trio has found some songwriting magic together.

Fingers crossed for more collaborations in the future. Maybe even on her new album perhaps? Only time will tell.
