Guy Fieri Shines A Spotlight On Wisconsin Hidden Gem
Everyone loves Guy Fieri. He is a household name and instantly recognizable. Everyone freaks out when he is in Minnesota or Wisconsin filming for the show and rightfully so. It's so cool when that happens!
He has filmed all over the midwest and right here in the Northland. In fact, he loves our neck of the woods so much, he's even circled back to a few places more than once for his hit show.

His biggest hit is of course Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, a show that has become a cult classic. It's been on for what feels like forever and thank goodness because it is such a fun show, unless you're watching hungry.
I always see Food Network videos on YouTube, many of them reflecting on the show, the places Guy has visited and even compilations of his favorite restaurants from each part of the country.

The video shares all of the 'standout spots' from each state, or rather the spots that stood out against the rest. Warning: please do not watch if you haven't had lunch yet because I made that mistake and now I am hungry!
Guy Fieri Chooses The 'Best' DDD Spot Ever Featured In Wisconsin
Drumroll, please! A spot in Kenosha has been named the 'best' spot ever featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. The standout spot is Frank's Diner! I have heard about this place before, which is famous for their menu item called the garbage plate.

I am definitely drooling! The garbage plate is made up of a heaping dose of hash browns, green peppers, and onions served with eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat or vegetables.
You can check it out around the 1 hour and 52 minute mark below.
Another fun fact: Frank's Diner was featured in one of the very first episodes of the show. Yup, it was featured in episode four of season one. It's also been named one of the best classic diners in the country. Yum.
