Fight In Downtown Duluth Bathroom Ends In Stabbing
The Duluth Police Department issued a press release concering another stabbing in Downtown Duluth. Police arrested 25-year-old Kyle Heisler Jr. early on Sunday morning, September 13th.
At approximately 12:10 am, officers received a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of West 1st Street. According to Fox21, the stabbing took place across the street from the Flame Nightclub.
Police arrived on scene and found a 37-year-old male victim with stab wounds. It's reported that the two men were in the bathroom when a fight broke out between them, which led to the victim being stabbed. The suspect fled the scene but was located a short time later near 2nd Avenue West and West 3rd Street. He was detained and was uncooperative.
25-year-old Kyle Hisler Jr. was booked at the St. Louis County Jail on pending charges of 1st Degree Assault, Threats of Violence, and Misdemeanor Obstructing.
Sunday's incident is the latest of several stabbings that have taken place in Duluth so far this year. A month ago, on August, 13th a Duluth man was arrested after stabbing another man in the East Hillside Neighborhood. The victim threw garabage in another mans car, who then became angry pulled out a knife, and stabbed the victim in the chest.

On July 29th, a 26-year-old man was stabbed near McDonald's on North Central Avenue.
On July 9th, an 18-year-old was charged with felony assault after slashing a man's face and ear with a knife in Canal Park.
