In-Person Learning a Possibility This Summer
On Thursday, Governor Walz signed an executive ordered which would allow the possibility of in-school learning this summer.
“The safety and well-being of all Minnesotans is always our top priority. By slowly turning the dial for school settings this summer, we can better serve Minnesota’s students and families, and provide more opportunities for the in-person learning and social interactions that are critical for learning.” - Gov. Walz
Minnesota schools will have the option to either distance learning or in-person classes this summer according to the latest executive order signed by Governor Walz. According to Bring Me the News, Executive Order 20-57 would let schools offer some form of in-person learning as long as they follow the guidelines set forth by the Minnesota Department of Health. This would include wearing mask, social distancing and cleaning to name a few.
Public and Private schools stopped in-person learnings back in late March.
