Pat Heydon is stepping down as Executive Director of the Habitat for Humanity of the Steele-Waseca Area. Her resignation is effective December 29. Heydon has overseen the completion of four new home constructions in the area and implemented several new programs. She begins work in the Operational Excellence Department with Habitat International in January, 2018.

The board of directors is now seeking applicants for executive director. Interested candidates can learn more about the position and also submit a cover letter and resume to executivedirector@habitatswa.org.

In the meantime, Ellen Heydon the community engagement coordinator will serve as the primary contact for the organization.

Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area has built or rehabbed a total of 25 homes in the area. The Steele County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1993.
