A Twin Cities woman is seeking the public's assistance in locating her pet monkey was that stolen from her vehicle, which was parked at a Maplewood supermarket Tuesday night. The monkey, a capuchin monkey named CoCo, has a cash reward attached to its safe return.

There aren't a lot of details surrounding the monkey's disappearance, some media outlets in the Twin Cities reported that the monkey was inside of a pet carrier, when the monkey's owner went inside the store, and when she returned to the vehicle the monkey and carrier were missing.



According to a social media post from the Maplewood Police Department, surveillance video from the area is being sought to aid investigators in this case.
