How's that for a headline? Better explain. Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area will be hosting a beer tasting along with Sparetime Entertainment on Saturday, April 7. It'll be held from 1-4PM at the Steele County Four Seasons. Their goal is to have 20 vendors who will be offering multiple beers to sample. We'll have more details as the date draws nearer.

To stage such a large event a number of volunteers will be needed to help pull it off. Around 100 helpers are hoped for. Duties will include checking I.D.'s, placing wristbands, handing out goodie bags, delivering ice, emptying dump stations and refilling water. Those who volunteer will be allowed to participate for two hours and then volunteer for two hours. Those interested in helping out should call (507)-446-0112. Volunteers will be required to attend a half hour orientation on Wednesday, February 21 at OPU at either 11AM, 11:30AM, 12PM, or 12:30PM. Orientation will also be offered on Thursday, February 22 at Good Shepherd Lutheran church at 4:30PM, 5PM, 5:30PM or 6PM.
