Triton High School's Nell Graham is putting an exclamation point on her senior season. She has set at least a pair of school records and a track record and has her sights set on a strong finish at the state meet in June before heading off to NDSU. Junior teammate Chloe Staub also broke a school record this season.

For their incredible performances, Graham and Staub are being recognized as H & R Block Stat Sheet Stuffers. (It's possible more records have fallen since my last communication with Cobras' coach Kim Swanson!)

Graham broke the school record in the 200 meter dash (pictured) at the True Team meet May 7 with a time of 25.93, breaking the previous mark of 26.34 held by Carmen Sutherland in 2009. Graham tied Triton's long jump record at the HVL Conference meet with a leap of 16-5, tying a mark set in 1993. She also broke the Triton track record in the 100 meter dash in her debut with a time of 12.54 in mid-May.

Graham told Minnesota Mile Split that a favorite memory was sections as a freshman, "It was at this meet that I qualified for the state meet for the first time. It was also exciting because I broke our school record for the 800." She placed 11th at the state meet.

On her decision to run for the Bison, "I visited a couple of other schools and ultimately chose NDSU because of their great coaching staff and their commitment to success."

Staub (pictured) broke her own Triton school record in the triple jump with a 34-foot-10.75-inch effort at the HVL meet, breaking her own 2018 record by four inches.
