Free Eats For Vets

Sunday, November 11 is Veterans Day. The 100th anniversary of the Armistice making the end of the First World War.

A number of eating establishments are offering free and or discounted meals for veterans. Here's a couple to check out on Monday, November 12. The Owatonna Hy-Vee will be offering their breakfast buffet free of charge for veterans and their spouses. Serving will be 6-12PM. Then from 11-7PM, Cashwise Foods in Owatonna will serve a free chicken dinner to all active duty, National Guard, Reserve, former military and retired military. Cashwise will also off a half price meal for the veteran's guest.

The Owatonna American Legion is offering a free lunch for veterans and their families on Sunday, November 11 from noon-1PM.
