Former Kasson Police Officer Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison
Rochester, MN - Former Kasson police officer Julio Baez, who was accused of sexually assaulting three young girls, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
It was the expected sentenced term for Baez as it was part of a plea agreement from his guilty plea on January 18th. The plea included two first degree and one second degree charge spanning three counties. Olmsted County District Court Judge Lisa Hayne handed down the sentence.
Baez was given credit for the 288 days he’s already served, and the sentence also encompasses the charges against Baez in Dodge and Rice counties.
